After retiring from the Air Force in 2000 I moved to Hobart, Oklahoma and worked a few part time jobs. In 2009 I started volunteering at The General Tommy Franks Museum as a Docent/Guide. I have also worked as an Educator for the Museum’s Road show and worked as a carpenter to help refurbish the Stanley building belonging to the Museum. In August of 2011, I was named the Museum’s Manager. I have a wife, two children and a stepdaughter. My wife Adelita is a native of Hobart. My daughter Nikki lives in Oklahoma City and is a Operating room Technician. My son Christopher is a sophomore at Hobart High School and is the H S Band’s Drum major. My name is Michelle Rosemary Gather; I am the Finance and HR Manager at the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum. I am new to Hobart, new to motherhood, and new to GTFLIM. I am having the best time of my life watching my infant daughter Hannah learn and grow. My wonderful husband Bobby (Wolf) Gather and I are learning this parenting stuff as we go and it is the job of a lifetime! We enjoy riding the bike together and had a blast at the Celebration of Freedom poker run last year, who knew I would be working here for the next run! I am proud to be a part of this institution and General Franks' commitment to honoring all our military heroes; those actively serving, those who have served, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
